Has a pattern > form> calendar date picker or time input been scoped into the development roadmap?

We’ve added a “Calendar control” or “Date picker” to our Development Roadmap 
However, using the existing NSW Design System form input field to create date input fields with DD MM YYYY format (like the UK Date input format) might be preferable in many situations.
There’s a great writeup of the various ways to ask user for dates input there too.
Wondering what the guidance is for if you only need Month+Year?
